Can't believe that it has been almost 2 weeks since my last posting. Things have been really busy for me both at work and at home.

I have been on my own at work since the 6th when the guy that is trainging me said that he was not coming in and that if I needed him, to call and he would come in. The company has QuickBooks for accounting, which I am very familiar with, however, he preferred to use Excel spreadsheets for almost everything and unfortunately, I am not that familiar with the in's and out's of Excel, especially the newer version. Needless to say that this is causing me to spend more time trying to understand the reports and the software too. I have had to work more hours and additional days than I expected and planned. So free time has been reduced dramatically. Hopefully that will slow done as I get more comfortable with things.

As for home, things have been nerve racking here too. I have 3 very close people that are having marriage problems and this has involved many more long and indepth phone calls. Things are starting to calm down for now for all 3 and I hope that this trend will continue.

My husband and I have spent our free time, weeding the garden and yard. We have been picking tomatoes and cukes the past week or so and boy are they good. Over the weekend, we rearranged some furniture and cleaned the carpet under the buffet. My gosh was it really dirty but it came clean. Our carpet is a very light beige so I try to steam clean it every 3-4 months but because of the weight of the buffet, it was not  done under it in some time. Uck!!

It's going on 7 and I still have dinner to fix so I best get going. Hope everyone has a really great week. See ya!

I hope your friends work out their marriage issues. I think, Their wanting to share with you, speaks highly of your character, you must be a good listener and comforter.

My carpet is beige and I know what you mean about having to clean it alot. We have to spot clean it between the full cleanings we do once a year.

Working in the garden and yard is such a wonderful stress reliever. And the fresh veggies are just the best reward for the hard work. Yummy!

I understand how you feel about having family spread out so far. It's wonderful they are all doing well and happy but it's sad that you can't see & visit more often with each other. It's bittersweet. ;)

3 people with marriage concerns? I am sorry to be reading this . . . I agree with Dee on this saying so much about YOU but keep in mind to take time for yourself & your Hubby . . . helping others is great but as you know it can whooper you out

Ah the garden picking . . . LOVE LOVE LOVE IT . . . but got to say I am a bit envious as well . . . our garden is not that happy right now, dreams of a tomatoe over flow . . .well, not going happen . . . tis okay thou, live & learn . . . Lovin' the thought of you all having fresh veggies
