Can't believe it is the last day of April!
Finally got all the strawberries done. Gave alot away. I enjoy sharing my plants with the neighbors. Now if it would quit raining, we could till the garden and get some "real plantin" done!
Got several of seed pots planted the other day just before the rains came. Morning glories are in their new home in the flower beds and two types of gourd "Swan Gourds and Apple Gourds are in too. I've never grown gourds so it will be interesting to see how they do. My dad sent the seeds for the gourds last year but it was too late to put them in the ground. Not sure how they weill do with our shorter growing season than Florida's.
I'm almost done with my first mosaic project. I am finishing the painting and sealing of the grout of a bird feeder from a clay saucer. I didn't get the edge grouted as well as I should have but will do much better with the next one. This project contains heart shaped tiles I bought over 8 years ago. I just KNEW they would come in handy somtime! My next project will be a blue butterfly motif.
That's all the news from my homefront. See ya all later. Hope everyone has a beautimous weekend!
?!! LOVE EM' Good luck with the Gourds
I always thought they were crazy cool!
