Tonight's Powerball jackpot is $136 million, that is $69.4 million cash after taxes! What would you do with that much money??
I bought one ticket and usually do when the jackpot gets this big. It's fun to think about where you would spend all of that money. I have my idea's and my husband has his.
I would split the prize up this way:
Now if you didvide each of the above into the cash value, that is over $6 millon each. I know you see my husband and I getting a total of 3 shares. That is correct, a share in each of our individual names and one jointly. That way in the event of a death or divorce, the individual amount can not be touched by the other party and it also does not become part of an estate.
The amount to charity would be put into a trust fund and so much is given out each year. That way hopefully, the interest will keep the pot growing. I would like to help children and other worthwhile groups.
I would pay off our debts, maybe buy a place out in the country with some acreage. I know my hubby would love to have a dozen tractors! I would probably get a better and larger computer. Don't know what else I would get, maybe a new car.
Now, what would you do with that much money?
